SFly products are bringing an answer to the downsides of the current chitin supply chain (hardly traceable, and for sure not the phase before the extraction, lack of process repeatability and consistency, no quality audit possible). Our biotechnology issued from insects and our extraction and refining process allow us to propose quantities of products all year long, with a repeatable quality, fully auditable and bespoke specifications to match requirements from either environmental, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industries.

Chitin with high levels of purity (low ashes content). Chitosan starting from 70% Deacetylation rate up to 95% and potentially above, viscosity and molecular chain adjustments possible. Full traceability and quality control following ISO13485 norm, from the inlet feed and eggs till last refinement stage. Specifications for environmental, industrial, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

Issued from cold extraction, this oil is virgin and non treated. Its qualities and specification allows a minima full compatibility with biorefineries requirements (following a pretreatment as per EU rules) to be part of a 3rd Generation biofuel formulation. Other applications are under investigation by our R&D department, and Beta tests are currently being run on animal feed.

This oil will be distributed by our partner, and can be pretreated by him for biofuel applications.

By-Product from degradation of the vegetal diet by insect larvae, it is rich in major nutriments (N, P, K) and oligo-elements from natural origin. It is absolutely free from heavy metals, medicine and has a very low inert content.
